iSign

If you work with special education students who are deaf and you need to learn sign language, you may want to get an iPod Touch or an iPhone, because there is a great application to learn sign language: iSign. You can use it to learn the language or you can use it as a phrase book to communicate sporadically with deaf students. The phrase book is animated and comes with close to 300 words. It is well worth the price of $3.99 on the App Store.
